V-I Mathematical Model Characteristics of Optocouplers

In order to use optical coupler more convenient and efficient in circuit design,a mathematical model was proposed for the I-V characteristics of optical couplers.There isn't information about the model currently.From the theoretical analysis for current characteristics of light-emitting diode and phototransistor,the relationship between the input voltage and output current was derived for the commonly used phototransistor optocouplers.Thus the mathematical model of this work pattern was accomplished.Using MATLAB to analysis the experimental data and complete the distribution fitting,comparing the data points and theoretical fitting graphics,the results confired that the model was correct.The model filled the information gaps in the field.
