Object Recognition for Intelligent Horse Riding Simulator

With recent trend of great interest of personal healthcare, IT convergence technology has developed to combine object recognition such as face or human motion and health care. Vision sensor has used to acquire human motion, gesture or the information of a person who makes a motion. The technology of object recognition has been applied to sports. In addition, personal coaching function has included to teach a correct posture for various kinds of sports. In this paper, we propose an intelligent horse riding simulator using vision sensor that can identify a user and analyze a posture of the user. The proposed intelligent sport simulator provides individual customized teaching through identifying a user, analyzing and correcting posture information based on the motion of the user’s horseback riding.
