A finiteness condition for verbal conjugacy classes in a group

Given a group G and a word w, we denote by Gw the set of all w-values in G and by w(G) the corresponding verbal subgroup.The main result of the paper is the following theorem.Let k be a positive integer and let w be either the word G) is Chernikov for all x ∈ G as well.
