Systematic Design Concepts for Signal Processing Arrays
Jürgen Teich, Lothar Thiele · Frequenz · 1990
The aim of this paper is to describe a design trajectory suited for signal processing arrays. This class of realizations is distinguished by a completely regular interconnection structure and a local communication scheme. The massive parallelism inherent in signal processing arrays enables the processing of computational intensive algorithms while satisfying real time or interactive time constraints. Suitable architectures for signal processing arrays are presented and a systematic design concept is described
