Iterative Source Separation Using a Hybrid Cadzow and Median Filter

F. Magnussen · Proceedings · 2015

Summary This paper describes an iterative estimation and subtraction technique for separating simultaneous sources. The kernel of the algorithm is a hybrid Cadzow and frequency domain median filter that gradually recovers each individual source contribution. The technique has proven to work well in case of a numerically blended field data case, where the contributions from the two interfering shots are well recovered with a negligible amount of cross-talk.
