Study on Performance of Pendular Wave Power Converter Attached to Detached Breakwater of Pillar Type

Pendular wave power converter developed in Muroran Institute of Technology has many advantages, for example, high efficiency, easy maintenance, and attachable to detached structure, etc.In the present study the converter attached to detached breakwater of pillar type has been tested with two-dimensional experiments.Reflection coefficient, transmission coefficient and conversion efficiency have been obtained, which show a character of point absorber.
