Wavelet-based Methods to Study the Regularity of a Signal: from Theory to Practice

In this talk, I use the notion of wavelet to design multifractal formalisms. I present the theoritical results obtained on the generalized Snu spaces and I show the utility of these generalization. Besides, I also apply these formalisms on a practical example: the Mars topography.
