Research on Integrative System Framework of Logistics Distribution Based On Information Fusion

In a modern logistics distribution system, core functions include distribution line optimization, whole process tracking and control, real-time inquiry service for customers, vehicle navigation and so on. The key to realizing these core functions is the exact gathering and processing of dynamic logistics distribution information in time. According to the basic aspects of the logistics distribution activity, this paper analyzed its characteristics. Using the theory and method of information fusion, we researched the logistics distribution information fusion method and pattern as well as the logistics distribution integrative system based on information fusion. By using the information fusion technique, this paper proposed the logistics distribution integrative system framework that takes GIS, GPS, GSM and INTERNET technology as support. The system has many functions such as vehicle route optimization, route guidance, real-time tracking and control during distribution process, real-time inquiry service for customer and so on.
