ReviewsA Pneumographic Study of the Temporal Horn. By LindgrenErik.Acta Radiologica, Supplement 69. P. A. Norstedt & Soner, Stockholm, 1948.
James W D Bull · British Journal of Radiology · 1950
The monographs published as supplements by Acta Radiologica always merit attention. This, the sixty-ninth of the series, is no exception and is without doubt one of the most outstanding. Lindgren was Lysholm's right hand man for over a decade, and the work under review may be said to be one of the many good fruits of their combined experience. This is not said in any derogatory manner towards Lindgren, for he began the monograph after Lysholm's death. However, were it not for Lysholm and Olivecrona, the wealth of material would not have been available. It is most unlikely that any other school in the world could collect 137 cases of temporal tumours fully investigated pneumoencephalographically.
