DARWIN V2 - A distributed analytical system for aeronautical tests
David J. Korsmeyer, Joan Walton · 1998
NASA Ames Research Center has built a distributed information infrastructure to redefine classic aeronautics data management and wind- tunnel test analyses. The system, called DARWIN, combines custom and commercial software and hardware to create a remote analysis and management system. With DARWIN, aeronautics test results are produced and made available to industry and researchers quickly, inexpensively, and at high fidelity. This paper will provide details of the next generation DARWIN systems and implementations, networks, software developments, and future plans.
