Big Data Processing Technology Research and Application Prospects

With the rapid development of cloud computing, Internet of Things, Mobile Internet and other related technologies, data is growing at an unprecedented rate in both scales and types. Nowadays, data has been a kind of enormous business resources in the era of big data. So that how to utilize the potential value in big data effectively has become a central point focused by the world-leading business giants. Based on the current research status about big data, in this context, we first take a close look at the basic concept and acquisition mode of big data, then focus our attention on the tools (cloud computing and MapReduce) used to process big data. We also discuss the various challenges and issues in accepting and adapting big data in detail.
