With the increase of the satellite and the diversification of the mission, the operation of a ground system becomes complicated these days. On the other hand, promotion of operational efficiency is demanded, and the operation of many satellites and missions by few operational people are demanded. As a help to solve this demands, the operation that captured the whole movement of a satellite and a ground system macroscopically is expected. Some space agencies in Japan, they make the operational plan of the satellite with Spacecraft Operation Procedure (“SOP”) that described the operational procedure of the satellite electronically. However, SOP defines a detailed operational procedure in Spacecraft Management and Control System (“SMACS”), and it is unsuitable to express satellite operation macroscopically. Therefore we are studying whether it is possible to express macro operation with a figure of activity of UML and to express and define operation by burying SOP in one activity. The SOP is described by an XML language, and we adopt XMI (XML Metadata Interchange) in a model conversion form of UML and try to fuse it with SOP. We will introduce a summary of the expression method of the spacecraft operations procedure by UML and SOP.
