Multicarrier demodulators for on-board processing in Ka-band

This paper considers the terminal and satellite complexity of an on-board processing system in Ka-band. A combination of FDMA, TDMA and CDMA is proposed for the uplink to reduce both the terminal cost and payload complexity. The optimum multicarrier demodulator structure for such a system is derived.
