Eye-movement and pupillary change have been used as behavioral indices in educational studies and behavioral analyses. Because they reflect the input of information, they can be used as indices of a person's cognitive load. The cognitive load during simulated driving was evaluated using eye-movement and pupillary changes. The measured changes in pupillary size indicate that the cognitive load increases what is coupled with a task. In addition, the saccade rate increased and the time spent gazing was less than in few task's cases.
