Using Synthetic Division by Quadratics to Find Rational Roots

This paper presents a simple algorithm, similar to synthetic divison, for dividing a polynomial by a quadratic polynomial. in an interesting application of this algorithm, we can significantly reduce the labor involved in searching for the rational roots of a polynomial equation.
