Combining latency insertion with traditional simulation methods for large system analysis
Andrea Benigni, Antonello Monti, Roger A. Dougal · 2009
Standard technique for simulation like resistive companion or state equation require simulation time that are too big for real time simulation and for an efficient design process of really large and complex system. The purpose of this paper is to present a new approach to simulation that combining standard techniques with a finite difference method allows the decoupling of the entire system under analysis in small subsystems, significantly decreasing the simulation time. A comparison between standard techniques and this new approach both concerning accuracy and computational work is presented.
