Criteria for Selection of Microprocessor for Military Applications

The paper makes a survey of the microprocessors available today in the market and their suitability as information processing devices in navigation, guidance and flight control of missile and aircraft. The technology, system architecture, I/O capability and support software of high performance microprocessors for such applications are also discussed in the paper.
