MODEL SELF-INITIATION: FROM THEORY TO REALITY

Yu. P. Lankin · CyberLeninK (CyberLeninka) · 2013

Fundamental problems of the modern methodology are considered that restrict the potential of scientifi c methods for nature cognition based on the building of prediction models of reality. Limitations imposed on the classical and neoclassical methods and preventing the enhancement of the accuracy of representation of the properties and dynamics of complex natural systems are briefl y analyzed. To eliminate the existing diffi culties, it is proposed to build the mathematical tools for model self-initiation in which quantitative representations are supported by deep qualitative generalizations of current scientifi c advances. Successful researches are based upon revelation and refl ection of the fundamental properties of complex natural systems in mathematical methods, in contrast to the attempts to squeeze the properties of these systems into the Procrustean bed of the concepts grounded on retrospective cognitive models. This young, rapidly developed fi eld of knowledge named the Concept of adaptive self-organization of complex systems promises to change its concept status for the theory title in the nearest future.
