A simple feedback technique in wave-digital filter design

Wang ZZ · 1st IASTED International Symposium on Signal Processing and its Applications · 1987

Wave-digital filters (WDF) derived from classical doubly and resistively terminated ladder-structure have a remarkable coefficient sensitivity in both passband and stopband. This WDF structure, however, usually requires a matching two-port adaptor (or a non-constrained three-port adaptor which has two multipliers) in the main chain of adaptors. Use of a matching two-port adaptor can be avoided by employing an appropriate feedback technique which results in a saving in hardware.
