Random Wave Deformation and Bispectral Change

Ken-ichiro Hamanaka · 1985 Australasian Conference on Coastal and Ocean Engineering · 1985

Bispectral change accpmpanied with wave deformation in a shoaling region is considered. Obserbed bispectra are compared with theoretical one in both the real and the imaginary parts. The theoretical bispectra estimated from local power spectra show fairy good agreement with obserbed one, in deeper region. But the patterns of imaginary parts of obserbed bispectra in this experiment have rather complexity due to statistical errors. In shallower region, differences between obserbed and theoritical bispectra become significant.
