A Multilead E.C.G Data Collector Using a Shugart Winchester Disk Drive
RH Farrow · 1980
Direct analogue to digital conversion techniques for acquisition of rapidly changing signals are difficult due to the dual requirements of fast A/D converters and large digital storage facilities. Faster A/D converters are evolving and fixed disk drives have recently been released which provide, at a reasonable cost, storage space of several Megabytes. The system described here employs a Shugart SA4008 fixed disk drive for the rapid collection of multilead e.c.g. signals.
