Real Time Y2K Bugs

Judging by the majority of articles published on the Year 2000 date problem or Y2K bug as it is often affectionately known, it is easy to conclude that it is an information technology (IT) problem, and has little to do with real-time systems. Process control systems and embedded systems are good examples of real-time systems. They process information as it is happening and make immediate decisions for their responses.
