What Lies Inside the Trojan Horse

This chapter describes how Raj Mentiri grew up in India in a fortunate household where his family could afford a luxurious lifestyle. Both he and his brother Vignesh were educated in the best schools money could provide. Technology was the ‘‘it’’ subject of study for young Indians, and so Raj and his brother followed suit and mastered it with hopes of moving to America to prosper. Located in San Francisco's Bay Area, Incurio Inc. was a company in the midst of rapid growth. Incurio purchased the software system suggested by Raj from a company called Soclus for $155,000. Soclus, coincidentally, was headed by Vignesh Mentiri, Raj's older brother. As CTO, Raj and his team were tasked with implementing this software into Incurio's daily operations. But his bright promise of having it up and running within a couple months began to dull as the weeks passed by. All the evidence uncovered through investigators’ computer forensics investigation pointed at earnest efforts towards building this new company, all on Incurio's time and at its expense.
