Mobile Robot Problem Solver
Sanjeewa Wasalathantry, Jacky Baltes, Bruce MacDonald · 1998
A mobile robot requires a problem solving component to reason about the actions that it could take. DoLittle is Baltes' multi-strategy problem solver that plans actions using cases, macros, abstraction and means-ends analysis. A domain description was developed for high level navigation through a multi-storey building with the ability to build towers of objects. Methods for speeding up plan generation in DoLittle were investigated by incorporating domain dependent information.
