A Provable Secure Scheme for Convertible Authenticated Encryption
Fuw-Yi Yang, Chih‐Hui Chen, Yeong-Nan Hwu · 2004
This paper proposes a provable secure scheme for convertible authenticated encryption. The scheme allows a receiver converting a ciphertext into a conventional signature. Thus the scheme possesses the property of non-repudiation without the help of a third trusted party. To show our proposed scheme is secure against adaptively chosen message attacks, we further provide a formal proof. Besides, the communicational and computational complexity of the proposed scheme is as efficient as Schnorr’s digital signature scheme.
