The transpolarizer, a basic ferroelectric circuit element
Charles F. Pulvari · IRE Transactions on Electron Devices · 1959
The trans polarizer, analogous to its magnetic counterpart the transfluxor, consists of at two condensers with a preferable crystalline ferroelectric dielectric and a nearly rectangular hysteresis loop. Control of polarization transfer through two or more applied ferroelectric dielectric paths in series represents a new basic means for storing and gating electrical signals and, in general, means to control circuit impedance in any predetermined manner according to a stored setting.
