Storyboards: a graphical development tool for the rest of us

This paper provides an overview of Storyboards, a visual programming and user interface design tool built into Xcode that makes iOS development easier than ever before. It begins by discussing the motivation for using Storyboards, then provides a detailed examination of its major features. There are some drawbacks to using storyboards, especially for student developers, and these are duly noted. paper concludes with a report on The Storyboard Sessions -- an attempt to use Storyboards to jumpstart the teaching of iOS development to freshman and sophomore Computer Science majors.
