Discovering Metadata Inconsistencies.
Bruno Angeles, Cory McKay, Ichiro Fujinaga · 2010
This paper describes the use of fingerprinting-based querying in identifying metadata inconsistencies in music libraries, as well as the updates to the jMusicMeta-Manager software in order to perform the analysis. Test results are presented for both the Codaich database and a generic library of unprocessed metadata. Statistics were computed in order to evaluate the differences between a manually-maintained library and an unprocessed collection when comparing metadata with values on a MusicBrainz server queried by fingerprinting. 1.
