It is divided into three major sections: architecture, protocols, and enabling technologies, services, and applications in future wireless networks. This book acts as a survey of the latest state of the art in wireless networks. The chapters’ authors highlight the research being done to cope with demands on current wireless network infrastructures, and also schemes and technologies proposed by researchers to increase efficiency and throughput of wireless networks, such as smart grid and mobile cellular networks of the future. The book is a good reference for practitioners and researchers in the field to get an idea of the current and future research focus on the area.
