Node Equations

Martin B Reed · Proceedings of the IRE · 1944

The node equations are shown to be Kirchhoff's current equations expressed in terms of circuit admittances and voltages from all network junctions or nodes to the reference node (node at which a current equation is not written). A method of writing these node equations directly from a network is presented. This method is given in such a form that it applies to any network, even though mutual magnetic induction, regulated generator voltages, and given input currents are included.
