Measuring the Concentration Reinforcement Bias of Recommender Systems

In this paper, we propose new metrics to accurately mea-sure the concentration reinforcement of recommender sys-tems and the enhancement of the “long tail”. We also con-duct a comparative analysis of various RS algorithms illus-trating the usefulness of the proposed metrics.
