Influence of Deep Minima on Multigroup Cross-Section Generation

It is demanstrated that conventional group constant generatian methods can break down for single materials having deep cross-sectian minima. Implicatians for the analysis of fast neutran spectra in iron are discussed. A possible resolutian of the difficulty based an Bn theory is advanced.
