Performance of query processing in federated system IBM DB2

One of the basic architecture implementing the Distributed Relational Database Management System is the system of federated database, that is central repository of data originated from different, relational and not relational, sources. The examining platform was 3-node DB2 cluster, where queries efficiency was analyzed. A lot of SQL queries were executed and chosen queries and their execution plans were analyzed, in order to identify query optimizer determinants, affecting query processing strategy.
