Abstract: This paper presents an on line student model in presence of agent, adaptive learning environment and Internet technologies. An agent-based computer tutorial system consists of three sub-agents; a) personal assistant agent for teachers (PAA-T), b) personal assistant agent for students (PAA-S) and c) tutoring agent (TA). PAA-T allows the teachers to upload their materials that will be taught and to monitor the students performances. PAA-S contains student model. TA controls and monitors both PAA-T and PAA-s in a server-client relationship. PAA-T and PAA-S should be downloaded via WWW to the teacher’s set and student’s set respectively. The active server provider technology had been used to keep the database of students ’ status dynamic and available on line.
