Implementation of Soft Location on mobile devices

This paper highlights issues of improved concepts for location information. Starting with a description of the soft location representation the paper presents a tool to easily combine different sources of location information from heterogeneous sensor data. It shows a first implementation of the described system. It also considers the integration aspects of the system on programmable mobile devices and presents an extension to combine location sensors that are measured at different points in time.
