A pragmatic Approach to a Semi-Process Driven Standard Software Implementation

Heinz-Dieter Knöll, Lukas W. H. Kühl, Roland W. A. Kühl, Robert Moreton · 2001

This chapter describes a pragmatic life-cycle model that can be used to improve business performance by exploiting the optimising capabilities of Standard Software. The life-cycle model is not only concerned with the initial implementation of Standard Software, but also with further business improvement scenarios within release changeover projects or continuous process improvement projects (CPI). The entire implementation approach is divided into phases where each phase is addressed within one section of this chapter. A certain section addresses the particulars of release changeover projects. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
