The development of m-Študent mobile application for Android platform

The goal of this thesis is to create mobile application m-Student based on information system e-Student. M-Student client is an application adapted for mobile devices running on Android operating system. The application enables students to apply for exams, remove exam applications, read notices, check grades and order confirmations. The introductory chapter presents a system called e-Student. The following chapters describe Android operating system, Eclipse development environment and other software tools and technologies that have been used to develop m-Student application. The main part describes architectural design, client/server concept and presents application functions including its usage. Problems and ideas that appeared during development are explained in the conclusion.
