Large-scale proliferation of self-driving fully-connected cars will only materialize if they are secure and reliable. Automotive quality and security are essential to ensure consumer confidence in these new technologies. Key functions needed to enable autonomous driving like V2X, car radar, and Ethernet become already available today but will continue to evolve in performance as well as integration level. Advanced mixed-signal RFCMOS technology enables the integration of high-performance wireless functionality, together with digital signal processing at low power and low cost.
