Resolution of Anaphors in Punjabi

This paper presents a study of Punjabi anaphors and their automatic resolution. This is probably the first work of its kind in Punjabi that resolves lexical anaphors using POS tagged corpus of the language. A system called PARShas been worked out through an algorithm. The algorithm works on the grammatical features of the language captured through the tagged labels. Keywords: Anaphora, Lexical Anaphors, PARS, Resolution
