When purchasing new meters there are several factors to consider before making a final decision. Get as many references as possible to help identify the best machine, consider repair costs, test sample meters for their resistance to freezing, and keep records of the problems of various meter manufacturers. Size and general appearance of the meter should be considered. Also check to see if there is any type of guarantee.
