Strong Designated Verifier Signature Scheme Based on Discrete Logarithm Problem

Pankaj Sarde, Amitabh Banerjee · Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences and Cryptography · 2015

Designated verifier signature schemes allow a signer to convince only the designated verifier that a signed message is authentic. A designated verifier signature scheme is a special type of digital signature scheme which provides message authentication without non-repudiation. In such a scheme, signer designated the verifier and designated verifier can verify the validity of signer's signature. In this paper, we propose strong designated verier signature(SDVS) scheme scheme based on discrete logarithm problem and compare to Saeednia et al.'s [10] strong designated verifier signature scheme and further discuss its security requirement.
