A note on orthogonal idempotents in FG, G is an abelian group

Explicit expressions for pair-wise orthogonal idempotents in FG, the semi simple group algebra of the abelian group G of order n over the finite field F = GF(q) of prime power order with q = nλ+1are obtained.
