Smart Applications of Signal Processing in Civil Engineering
Mingde Duan, Mark Andrew Bradford · Australian Structural Engineering Conference 2005 · 2005
The benefits of the application of a technique of a discrete-time Fourier transform to model an input signal and produce an output signal specially for use in civil engineering are discussed. The Fourier method along with other signal processing techniques such as wavelet analysis, the parametric model method and fractal analysis have also yielded beneficial results in structural and civil engineering.
