Enhancing the KDD Process in the Relational Database Mining Framework by Quantitative Evaluation of Association Rules

The user performing a KDD process based on the extraction of association rules may wish to reuse the association rule set, to perform new and/or different analysis tasks. We introduce the EVALUATE RULE operator, which performs quantitative evaluations of association rule sets over the data in the Relational Database Mining Framework; we show that the operator significantly enhances the KDD process.
