MBOA (Multi Band OFDM Alliance) UWB (Ultra Wide Band), which has 53.3~480Mbps transmission speed, is used mainly in the short-range high-speed communication of moving pictures and large files. However, the high bit rate system is not necessary for the transmission of low bit rate data, such as audio data. In this paper, we propose a new physical layer model by changing part of the MBOA UWB standard that is suitable for the low bit rate data transmission. The goal of this paper is to change the physical layer and to implement MBOA UWB for general purpose DSP without additional hardware accelerator. This paper will introduce the algorithm, which is proper for the low bit rate algorithm and has a very simple structure. It can transmit a 5.1 channel DVD audio data, which has the rate of 1.4Mbps, at the rate of 5~10Mbps through the UWB channel with the proposed algorithm.
