Domains in which the problem solving activity is governed by time constraints are termed as Time Constrained Domains(TCD). Solutions obtained in violation of the time constraints have little or no value. Real time applications fall under Time Constrained Domains(TCD). Distributed Problem Solving(DPS) paradigm is being widely used for arriving at solutions of complex and difficult problems in various domains. The DPS paradigm can be employed in time constrained domains. DPS techniques assume a priori partitioning of the problem and also the problem solving knowledge. In most time constrained domains, the problem and consequent partitioning of knowledge is not trivial. In an earlier work[7, 8], a graph based partitioning technique for rule based systems based on individual agent capabilities is developed. In time constrained domains, the application's time constraints are an additional factor to be considered while partitioning the knowledge. In this paper we extend the knowledge partiti...
