Monitor helps to cut energy costs 25% provides $100,000 savings in fixed costs

A microprocessor-based alarm monitor is described that scans temperature, pressure, flow and conductivity readings of the drying column of a fluorocarbon production facility. Access to more data and precise readings enable the process to be continually fine-tuned. The upgraded process also improved energy efficiency and reduced fixed costs. An equal amount of energy produced 10,000 pounds of product before optimization as compared to 13,000 pounds after optimization.
