Using Web Storage
Adam Freeman · Apress eBooks · 2011
Web storage allows us to store simple key/value data in the browser. Wen storage is similar to cookies, but better implemented and we can store greater amounts of data. There are two kinds of web storage — local storage and session storage. Both types share the same mechanism, but the visibility of the stored data and its longevity differ. Table 39-1 provides the summary for this chapter. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
