Graphics Standards - Where are we ?

An overview is given of the state of the standardization efforts of ISO/TC97/SC5/WG2, which currently concentrate on GKS. The standardization activities are illustrated by presenting a recently incorporated concept of bundling. An outlook on future activities Is presented.
