ESF-S: An Exception Supervision Framework for Service-Object Software at Service Level

Service-oriented software system will encounter many new, complex exception situations in running process, which makes the exception situations to be addressed in software systems become increasingly complex. Toward this problem, this paper gives firstly the classification based on the exception situations that service-oriented software may encounter in running process, and then proposes an exception supervision framework ESF-S at service level. Based on this framework, exception handling logic can quickly be constructed when software system is running, so that the software system can handle a variety of complex exception situations. Lastly, this paper gives the implementation blue print of the framework ESF-S.
